Project Manager - HR Systems Transformation

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity where you can take real ownership of a business-critical transformation project?

We are currently supporting a major global organization that is expanding its Project Management function and looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale HR systems migration.

This position sits at the intersection of HR, IT, and business transformation. You will take ownership of the project from end to end, partnering closely with HR leadership, IT teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective transition to a new HR platform.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the migration project forward while ensuring strong communication and alignment across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the HR system migration from end to end
• Managing project schedules, milestones, risks, and overall delivery
• Applying structured Project Management methodologies such as PMI and Waterfall
• Working closely with the HR team and HR HQ as an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
• Coordinating stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across the project
• Organizing and documenting key project decisions
• Managing the overall project transition
• Preparing executive-level presentations and project status updates
• Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, and Microsoft Office
• Supporting additional projects when necessary

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong Project Management fundamentals with excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of Project Management experience
• Experience managing projects from initiation through delivery
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• PMP certification
• PRINCE2 certification is highly valued
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Native-level Japanese
• Business-level English

Preferred Experience

Experience with HR systems / HRIS migration or implementation, particularly platforms such as SuccessFactors, would be highly valuable.
